Our Garden in Daylesford

Our Garden in Daylesford

The seasons feel a little later in Central Victoria.
Winter seems to go on forever, by the time Summer comes around, it is as though we've skipped Spring. Lucky for us, it does allow us to plant a little later, and enjoy the greenery for a little longer.
Right now we are enjoying zucchinis, sugar snaps, green beans, cucumbers, strawberries, and an abundance of beautiful herbs.
The property is small, so we style with garden pots and urns. They, not only bring a little colour and texture, but they can also be moved around whenever we like! We have three square veggie patches, that are surrounded by old railway sleepers, and hedges are visible at every point of the property.
The feature of our home, is without a doubt, our 10ft high stone wall. It provides us with privacy, and is truly a sight to see.
On a balmy night, the garden is our favourite place to be. With a Gin and Tonic in hand, sitting under the tree, surrounded by hedges and the beautiful stone wall.
Scroll on to see more shots of our patch of heaven. Gardenalia is a weakness of ours, we are constantly adding to our collection, and garden styling is one of our favourite pass times.
