Spring Look Book
Our Spring look book is highlighting our latest update to The Wall, bringing colour back into the store just as winter is coming to a close. We will feature items for inside, including tables, kitchenwares and other decorative items. As well as piece for outdoors, your garden, balcony or veranda. At Found. we want to show ways to style vintage/antique items in your home, whether it be modern, rustic, minimal or clean cut. You don't have to have a period house for our pieces to fit and match your home.
Indoors
Featuring our newly restyled back room The Wall
Oil paintings... A small oil in a room can pack all the styling punch you need. Pick an oil that has some matching tones to the furniture or other colours in your space. For example, here we used a colourful landscape, that has the smallest amount of bluey green colour in the water, which then works in with our new wall colour. Simple, yet very effective in creating a space that flows.
Copper
Copper to us, is much like marble, it never goes out of fashion AND the older it is, the more beautiful it becomes. Below we feature some of our copper. We have oversized stock pots, small and super sized pans, as well as a saucepans in a mixture of styles and sizes.
Australian School Cupboard
Featured below is a beautiful Australian school cupboard from Castlemaine. It is a lovely delicate size for a kitchen dresser. It displays kitchenwares beautifully and has storage cupboards at the bottom. It measures: 224cm tall, 160cm wide and 36cm deep. And is priced at $1,100.
Colour
Add some colour into your home with ease by styling with these items. They can be functional and decorative.
Early Australian rustic cupboard. This four door delight is from an estate not too far out of Daylesford. After spending many years hidden, we are excited to have this piece in store. It dates roughly 1880, and has a fabulous sloping top. It measures: 194cm tall, 92cm wide and 44cm deep. So much personality with a wonderful patina. Displayed alongside the cupboard is two sets of French shutters, these beauties stand at 2.4m tall and 50cm wide. We have many sets available, they would make a wonderful wall feature indoors, or can be used for their exact purpose outdoors. The Australian cupboard is $795, and the window shutters are $495 a set.
Outdoors
Featuring our stone wall in Daylesford
Coming into Spring, the green thumb returns and we're already ready to jump straight into the garden. Sadly, Daylesford's weather isn't quite that kind, we will have a little while yet before we're weeding and replanting. With that being said, it doesn't mean we can prep our outdoor areas for entertaining, eating dinner outside and, dare I say it, Christmas! Spring and summer here is spent in our stone walled, gravelled court yard. Below we will feature some of our out door furniture (some styled in doors, because who said you can't have outdoor furniture inside!).
Other cane pieces...
A pair of French cast iron out door chairs. These are the perfect match for a small outdoor table, or would make for lovely end chairs on a larger outdoor setting. The simple, minimal design, with just the right amount of ageing will allow them to suit just about any outdoor space
A stunning French round wrought iron outdoor table. This piece is easily translated indoors for a side table, or entry table during cooler months, or all the time. It is the perfect balcony table, for apartment dwellers, taking up minimal space, and fitting a chair either side with ease.
Olive buckets have an endless amount of ways to utilise them. Kindling by the fire place or as a decorative feature filled with pine cones. With plants and greenery on our mind we think they are perfect by the front or back door with a plant inside. Many of our lovely customers are using them in their garden already and if you don't have a garden where they can be used, why not decorate you entry ways.. They would also sit very happily in the corners of a balcony. Displayed here is an English Box plant, we have placed inside still in its pot and added some straw around the edges.
